Let's begin form TNUA!

The second day in Taipei, let's begin form visiting Taipei National University of the Arts. We not only show different departments of TNUA(included Finearts Department, Center for Art and Technology,Performing Arts Center and Kuandu Museum) and also introdut this Workshop and Taipei City. We try to give an unsophisticated conception for Taipei city and prepare for the coming activities.

Today ends with a fruitful Welcome Party. Every guest and visitor from the world enjoy this tradition feast in the Underground Museum. Tomorrow, we will bound for downtown and visit more Taipei urban heterogeneous sites.

Arrivals!

Today is the day participants arrive.
From 6:30 am to 22:25, there were 10 arrivals from all over the world.
Everyone can have some free time after they have checked in.
So today is the day they started exploring and discovering Taipei.
Then in next ten days, they will create their drift on their own way basic on the impressions of Taipei.
We are all looking forward to it!

Taipei Drift is an 8 days dialogued-based workshop, centering on contextual responding though the subjective experiences of Taipei urban heterogeneous sites. Taipei Drift is to create a platform where different ideas and thoughts can be interconnected and negotiated. In conjunction with Taipei Biennial 2008, curators and artists from the Biennial will hosts talks and workshops. Several experts from alternative social movements will also present their views on Taipei urban issues. In the end of workshop, the participants are asked for their eclectic and creative ways to intervene, interpret, and attend the realities of the urban space .
